The top three exams in india for Bachelor of architecture is Nata , Aieee B.Arch and Maharashtra arch cat (maharch).
All this eXams have different methods of preparation,we will discuss this exams elaborately.
Aieee:
Total marks 414
30 questions maths
35 aptitude
15 general knowledge
70 marks for Drawing
For Aieee B.arch exam maths is a deciding factor as the aptitude and general knowledge can be done by anyone more or less 30 questions out of 80 are maths so it is a big no
for maths students can refer maths books suggested for aieee btech as syllabus of both maths btech and barch is same

For basic mathematics refer rd sharma
for aptitude first download all the aieee barch question papers from aieee barch section and see the type of aptitude questions given on previous years
study the general knowledge questions also
the next thing is you can buy the arihant book on barch
its has a lot of aptitude questions and some g.k questions and solutions in it

everybody takes the drawing section very lightly in aieee so its very easy to score better
for improving drawing practice it well and study the books available for download at download section
this books must clear your concepts for drawing
Last year one drawing question was to draw the mirror image of a design and another to design a common house or to draw from memory of your school or some road scene
So with little efforts all the sections of Aieee Barch will be cleared and you should practice the previous years question papers with 3 hours as limited time and see how much you are prepared for yourself this helps you to access yourself a lot and shows where you are weak and what to concentrate on.
Nata:
Nata is of 200 marks
100 Drawing
100 online test
Drawing consists of 3 questions
download the sample papers from nata section and try to understand them. you can see how to understand them from nata dqlabs blog where students works are displayed a very good blog to see examples and learn.
you can download all books from download section to understand all basic concepts of drawing.
All this help you clear nata drawing tests.As in nata drawing is very important as 50% of marks is from drawing so you need to concentrate on drawing for scoring good.
for aptitude the previous books and resource of aieee section in this page will help.Some questions of identifying some famous places comes ,identify some materials used in architecture,some word meaning and synonyms of words are also asked.
Time limit is their for every question some are of 60 seconds and some are of 90 seconds and test is held online.The drawing part scoring also depends on the teacher but aptitude you get marks as expected or performed so try to score nicely their some practice are also available at nata official website.
